Well we finally took the camper out! What an adventure. I had a very very long day the previous day of our trip but despite working for three months to get ready for this day, I was scrambling to complete last minute details. First of all our dog Apollo had a vet appointment to get his rabies shot. I needed dog licenses (or I figured I did), plus I needed some fencing to run along the trailer so that the dogs couldn’t go under the trailer. Check in at the campground was after three and I was planning to leave at two, go to the Flying J to weigh the truck and trailer and be at the campground near three. We skipped the weigh in and rolled into the campground at about 5:30. We actually just caught the check in lady as she was headed home. Set up went well without any major problems, (other that the slight trailer roll because I didn’t chock the tires before I disconnected the truck!!!). My daughter and her boyfriend came by later and we had a nice evening. The best part is that Kathy was as nervous as could be, worried how everything including the dogs were going to work out. By the end of our three day adventure she was happy as could be and had a wonderful time.
